The Benzies Foundation is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO)* established in 2012 in Edinburgh.

The Benzies Foundation aims to promote health and fitness amongst communities within Scotland through the following:

  • Providing scholarships to individuals or teams who are enthusiastic but financially unable to participate in their chosen sports
  • Providing funding to develop sporting facilities in Scottish communities, therefore encouraging public participation in sport.
    • We obtain our funding through private donations and allocate these funds across the year on a case-by-case basis. To apply for a scholarship or facilities/equipment funding please refer to the pages entitled Scholarships¬†and Sporting facilities. NB We are currently closed for applications - please keep checking the site for an update.
